On March 18, 2023, the General Meeting of Members of the Association of the Sudanese Community in Poland was held in Warsaw. The General Meeting of Members of the Association was attended by 17 people out of a total of 27 members, according to the attendance list. The session was opened by President Abdul Rahman Babikir Abbas. Those gathered in an open vote elected Mr. Awad Gabir as the Chairman of the Meeting and Mr. Adil Abdel Aati as the Recorder of the Meeting
After listening to the speeches of the Chairman and invited guests and the report on the general conditions in Sudan and in Poland and the tasks of the community, the members began the meeting.
The Audit Committee without objections accepted the report of the Management Board of the Association of the Sudanese Community in Poland on its activities in the period March 2022 March 2023. Following the presentation of the report, a discussion on the matter was initiated. The General Meeting of Members, after discussing the matter in question, granted discharge to the Management Board for the period 2022-2023.
The assembled members of the Association elected the Management Board of the Association in the following composition:
Mr. Abdelrahman Babikir Abbas – President of the Management Board,
Mrs. Sabah Surag – Vice-President of the Management Board,
Mr. Adil Abdel Aati – Secretary of the Management Board,
Mr. Ashraf Abubaker – Treasurer of the Board,
Mr. Ali Hassan Ali Eissa – Member of the Management Board.
The assembled Members of the Association elected the Audit Committee in the following composition:
Mr. Awad Gabir – Member of the Audit Committee,
Mr. Yassir Elhadi – Member of the Audit Committee,
Mr. Hussameldin Hussain – Member of the Audit Committee.
